Hey everyone! This is my first post on the new blog. Mike really likes all of this web design stuff that he’s been learning. ( : He’s doing a good job with customizing our web adventures. I thought that I would write a post, since I’m on vacation. I don’t write much, but it’s because my life is pretty boring most of the time! ( : Not boring in a bad way, but boring because I basically do the same things all the time.
- Emily has completed the first round of chemo, but it has basically obliterated her white blood cells. WBCs are the cells that help fight infection and heal cuts, etc… Emily was admitted to the hospital again this morning, because she has an infection. The doctors aren’t sure what kind of infection, yet. Just keep praying for her, and pray specifically that her body would produce new WBCs at a record-breaking speed. To get updates on Em, check out http://www.xanga.com/leone_of_judah Thanks everyone! We love you!
- I found this amusing. Can’t say I agree with all of it, but it’s funny nonetheless.

Well, the weekend is not quite over, but it sure has been busy so far! On Thursday, I left to visit my family and friends in Terre Haute. It ended up being a huge blessing, because my mom had a procedure done at the hospital. The sedation really affected her, and she was knocked out for most of Friday. ( : I was able to drive her around and let her rest up. We had lunch with several of the women from my childhood church, and it was wonderful! On Friday evening, my dad came up to Lafayette to help us start the demolition on our bathroom. The boys made a LOT of progress.

- The construction people should be starting the remodeling of our bathroom today. We’ll try to have pictures up as progress is made throughout the week. They should be done within 5 days.
I’ve been working on a logo idea for our church lately. Here’s what I’ve got so far:

- Jacob’s Well I really like this church’s webpage. I think that with the new logo that I’m working on, I’m going to try to give our church’s site a updated look and more features like this one has. This will take a lot of time and effort on my part, but in today’s day and age a website can say a lot (good or bad) about a church and I want ours to be impressive. I’ll post the updated version of the logo soon. I think it has a lot of potential ( :
Here’s the latest I’ve come up with:

After posting the original on several design forums, it seemed that it was hard to read “elston”. So, I kept the symbol of a person worshiping and kept the entire words to make it more readable. What do you think?
