Hey everyone!
It seems as though Baby G has some plans of his/her own. On Wednesday morning, I started leaking a little bit, and on Wednesday night, I was admitted to Home Hospital. I have a tear in my amniotic sac. Don’t worry! Baby and I are just fine! All of our vitals are looking great, and the doctor estimated (from the ultrasound) that Baby G weighs about 5 lbs. already! The estimate can be off +/- 1 lb, so that gives us a range of about 4-6 lbs.
Because this increases the risk of infection, I’ll be staying here at the hospital until the baby is born. We’re hoping to keep the baby cooking for at least two more weeks. The baby will almost definitely be here by the middle of February. I won’t be going to my due date (not even close…).
Specific prayer requests:
Pray that I am not Strep-B positive. We’ll have the results on Saturday.
Pray that Baby G takes to the steroid well, and his/her lungs develop quickly.
Pray that Baby G will be born totally and completely healthy and that he/she will not have to spend any time in the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit.
Pray that Mike and I can be an AMAZING witness for Christ while we’re here at the hospital. We know God has a plan in this, and if even one person is drawn into a closer relationship with Jesus, then it was totally worth it! ( :
We’ll keep you all updated as well as we can. I have access to dial-up here at the hospital, but it is painfully slow. I’m gonna try to do my best! ( :
Love to you all!
