24 Weeks and Lots of Fun!

Good Morning!  Here we are!  24 weeks!!  Can you believe it??  The ultrasound at 21 weeks estimated that Burke was about 1 lb.  I'm guessing that, at best, he might be about 1.5 lbs. now at 24 weeks.  Momma sure has grown:

Surprised Surprised Surprised

Oh my goodness!!  When you're laying on your back all day, you don't realize how big that belly is getting.  I was astounded when I saw the pictures this morning.  LOL!  Anyway, back to the important stuff:

Burke is probably between 1 and 1.5 lbs. right now.  According to the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, that gives him a 49% chance of survival, if born at this time.  It's probably actually a little lower than that, because he's very, very, very early, gestationally.  Not only that, but he's been living in a compromised environment for the past six weeks, since he's living in a broken sac.  However, this was the first milestone that I wanted to reach, and we did it!  I can't believe the odds we're beating.  Wow...

Burke will get his steroid shots in another two weeks, so let's pray him to that point, okay?

In other news, Ruby has been having fun with her Mommy and Daddy this past week:

She has also found a new toy.  It's called a hamper.  :)

And, lastly, she loves tummies.  She also loves kissing tummies. The other night, we noticed her lifting up her shirt, bending over, and making kissing noises.  She was trying to kiss her own tummy!!  LOL!  We thought it was hilarious.  :)

You might have also noticed that I whacked my hair off.  I got permission for a small outing, and I went and got all the extra fluff cut off.  I think it'll be really cute, once I learn how to style it.  :)  Have a great day, everyone!!
