Not Great, Not Disastrous

Hey everyone,

We need your prayers tonight.  I have had a few small gushes of liquid, which isn't good.  I have also had a couple of other "not good" signs.  I am still having random contractions, even though the medicine has been doubled.  However, I'm still on an extremely low dose of the medicine, so it's not like the contractions are breaking through a brick wall or anything.  However, we could be heading into the hospital within the next 24 hours, and we could be delivering a baby boy within the next 24 hours.  Please pray for God's Will, and admit to Him that this is not what we would want.  If it's His Will, He will need to prepare us in a big way.

Specific requests:

1. Pray that I am imagining all of this.  Pray that we go into Dr. Harrison's office in the morning, and we find out that my amniotic fluid has actually increased.  Pray that we find my cervix really tight, really closed, and really long.  Pray that Burke is big, boisterous, and snuggled safe inside his watery home.  Pray that he isn't showing any signs of stress at all.

2. Pray for my glucose test tomorrow.  Pray that I do not have any signs of gestational diabetes.  I really don't need that stress on top of what's happening right now.

3. Pray that they will do a Non-Stress Test for me tomorrow.  This would actually monitor my uterine activity.  I would love to get the test done and feel this feeling that I'm having, only to be told that it's nothing.  I would love, love, love that!  I would be thrilled to find out that I'm only feeling gas or something like that, so pray for some confirmation tomorrow.  Confirmation that I am NOT having contractions.

4. Pray for overwhelming peace tonight.  Peace for every single person who is not feeling peace with this news.  Mike, our families, and I are all feeling anxious and upset right now.  Very anxious.  Very upset.  This is not from God, and it is not helping.  Pray that it would go away and that we would continue to rely on God and live in His peace.

Thank you!  I'll update if anything changes.
