not to us

Hey everyone!

We stayed at our friends' house far too late last night, so we were all *beat* when we walked in the door.  We got everyone settled into bed (with Burke and Mommy upstairs, since the basement was too cold!).  The night wasn't too terrible on Burke's end.  He slept well in between his feedings, and I was able to get three stretches of sleep for about an hour and forty-five minutes!  Awesome!

At 4:15 a.m., however, Miss Ruby woke up begging for "breakfast" and "cup."  So, she got to have breakfast at 4:30 a.m.  We turned on cartoons, and I told Daddy he could go back downstairs to sleep.  I dozed on the couch while Ruby ate her breakfast...

Apparently, Daddy came back upstairs at 6:15 to put Roo back in bed.  LOL!  Whoops!  :)  Mommy was dozing pretty soundly, I'd say.  Anyway, Ruby had no complaints, and she went straight back to sleep.  Actually, we all went back to sleep.

We all slept in until 11:00 a.m. this morning!!  (Daddy got up at 9:00 a.m., and Mommy "slept in" in spurts.)

Now, we're getting dressed and ready, and we're heading to Aunt Sarah's to get ready for our family group Christmas gathering!  I'm totally excited for our first Christmas party of the year!  Yay!
