you hear a beautiful classical song on the public radio station, and you think, "Now where have I heard that song before?" You know that you didn't play it during your piano lesson days, but it still seems so familiar.
And then you realize that the song you're hearing was the special music on The Little Einsteins that day. :)
I'm amazed at how much I retain from the television shows that are playing all day long. To be honest, I watch more of them than Ruby (which is a sad state of affairs, since they are all cartoons.) She's constantly running around playing with her babies or doing puzzles or having me read books. Every once in a while, however, she'll stop and pay attention for a few minutes. I'm convinced that Choo Choo Soul is the reason she knows how to count to ten.
Anyway...I'm just glad that, for now, there is an abundance of television programs that are Ruby-friendly.

Oh, and in other big news: Ruby said "breakfast" properly this morning! Well, it was more like Burke-fuss, but it was miles better than her previous pronunciation. :)
