It's REALLY working!!

Obviously, I'm back from my doctor's appointment, and I have really great news! The baby is doing WONDERFUL. And, get this...

I have GAINED 3 cm of amniotic fluid. I had 14 cm last week, and I have 17 cm this week. That is a 20% increase, ladies and gentlemen!! That is SO GOOD! Dr. Harrison was very pleased with what she found. She said this is really good.

I'll still be going in every week to keep an eye on things, and I have to remain on bedrest until delivery. She said that, even if my sac has sealed over, there's too big of a risk (from all of my history) of the bag breaking again. To keep that risk as small as possible, I've got to stay on bedrest. I also have to keep pushing fluids like nobody's business.

No problem! I can do that! If this is working, then I'm in it for the long haul. Thank you all so much for your dinners, visits, support, prayers, and everything...God is using you! Wahoo!!

P.S. Dr. Harrison was able to find the sex. It's sealed in an envelope, waiting for Daddy to come home. I'll update you with that information as soon as possible! :)

P.P.S.  Apparently, we are having some technical issues.  I have posted
the gender announcement, but it is not showing up for you all.  Mike is
out on a walk with Ruby.  He should be back in about a half hour.  He
will fix the blog, and you will all be able to see Baby Goodwin's
gender and name at that time.  :)
