Lost My Touch?
Where has my humor gone? I swear it has up and run off, because it was sick of lying in bed. Grrr... Come back, come back, wherever you are. I mean, I still laugh at other people's funny stuff, but my thoughts aren't humorous in and of themselves.
Oh well...such is life. :)
I don't have much for you guys today. It's sort of a chill day around here. Ruby is at Kirsten's house. (Seriously, people, she's a saint.) Mike is at an all-day on-site interview. (Pray! Pray! Pray!) And I'm just chillin'. They should both be home in the afternoon, so I'm enjoying the quiet time.
You see, Ruby has reached a new stage in development. Even though she knows well over 100 words, she has decided that screeching is much easier than forming a word. Therefore, since Tuesday night around 5:30, I have heard an abundance of screeches coming out of this child. It's enough to drive anyone mad, much less a person who is stuck on a futon. :)
So, anyway, more later, I'm sure...
Burke says, "Hi!" I had the laptop on my tummy a little bit, and he started pushing against it. Apparently, he doesn't want you all in his space. Be forewarned. :)

lost your touch
awwww, honey, you still have your sense of humor, its just one of those days!
I am praying hard for God to have his way in Mike's search for a job. I'm going to get to spend some time with your Mama this weekend and am looking forward to that. We will all be saying lots of prayers for
Burke. Love you very much!~ Today is your Uncle Darryl's birthday. Patty and I are taking him out for dinner.
Job...
I saw this study and thought of you...imagine getting paid to be on bedrest like you are now!!

hilarious!
I'd be really interested in reading the results. i.e. which rehabilitation regimens work best... When I get up to go to bed at the end of the night, I feel incredibly weak. I'm starting to get a little worried about taking care of a toddler (and hopefully a newborn!) after months of bedrest...
