When the going gets tough...

The tough send their kid to grandma and poppa's and call it a night.
Seriously, friends, I'm done. I know Mike is at the end of his rope, as well.
My good streak of not throwing up was not meant to continue. I am praying that God will help me keep fluids down for the rest of the night so I do NOT have to go to the ER in the morning. Keep praying to that end with me.
Even though I have not been to the ER yet, Ruby went to Immediate Care this evening. She had a really bad rash on her bum, and she was really cranky. I wanted to be sure it wasn't something serious before we sent her out of town, so we went. Well, she has Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease, AND she has ANOTHER ear infection. So, she is now on more prescription medications than most of the elderly I know.
My mom seems a little intimidated to take my sick child, and I certainly don't blame her. She is a saint. Please pray that Ruby is EASY and GOOD for them.

Oh my goodness...
The Goodwins' have had QUITE the week. I was going to e-mail to offer to watch Ruby sometime this weekend, but sounds like she is in good hands with Grandma and Poppa. I really hope the Goodwin girls are on the mend soon...and poor Mike must be worn out, too. Will keep the prayers coming...love you!
