29 Weeks

We've made it another week into this journey. According to my e-mail, Burke weighs about 2.5 lbs, and he's probably about 15 inches long. I'm getting very uncomfortable these days. I'm definitely ready to be finished with bedrest and pregnancy. Only 8 more weeks at the most... That's what I've got to keep telling myself.
We're having some contractors come into the house to give us some estimates this week, so our home might be getting a facelift soon. :) I'm very excited. If we decide to go ahead with the changes, I'll make sure to do before and after pictures.
Sorry I haven't been very talkative lately. I've been doing my homework for the upcoming election, but it's not really something I want to discuss on the blog. I figure you guys have your own opinions, right? :) I do have one very serious question about the national conventions, though...
What in the world is UP with those crazy hats?? I couldn't find hardly any good pictures, but y'all know what I'm talking about, right? The sequins, the flag print, the stuffed animals, the sparklers, the red, white, and blue pom poms super-glued to headbands??? I just don't get it.
Anyway, enjoy your weekend! Wear a funky hat or two...

Not major work...just a little paint and some carpet, maybe. Although, judging by the estimate I just received, I'm thinking it might be a no go...
