Ruby's bedding arrived this morning, and I was so excited to see the sets next to each other. I was secretly a little worried that they wouldn't match as well in person as they did on the screen. My worry was in vain!! They match perfectly!! :) And they are even nicer than I had realized. They have nice soft velvety material, as well as the dotted chenille type of material that I was hoping to use. I am just really pleased!! :)
Boy and Girl version of the same bedding? Check!
Cute characters/shapes to use for wall hangings? Check!
Stripes? Check!
Polka dots? Check!
I couldn't be any happier! :) We're going to paint the walls the lighter brown shade, and the furniture will be white. I'm so excited to see it all finished and put together. Yay!
I hope you're all having a good day. Today is Ruby's first day in daycare. It's a trial day, and, if all goes well, she'll start full-time next week. I've gotten a few updates via phone from Nana, and things seem to be going very well. :) I'll give you the full update tomorrow.
