Hello!

I'm starting to get bad at this blogging deal!  I can't believe I haven't blogged since Thursday.  Well, actually, I sort of can believe it.  I've been an industrious young lady.

Friday, I was determined to have the house in decent shape before we left town, so I put the laptop downstairs in the basement!  :)  It worked.  I got all but one load of laundry done (minus the folding.)  Plus, I got all the dishes washed and put away, and I got us all packed to go to Terre Haute.

Mike has had Red Leaf meetings scheduled on the past two Friday nights.  Both of the meetings have been out of town, but it's been kind of cool.  One meeting was in Indianapolis, and the other meeting was in Terre Haute, so they were great chances for the kids to hang out with their grandparents.

This past week, my mom and dad's furnace broke, so we couldn't stay at their house (as it was 56 degrees!).  Instead, we stayed over at my Uncle Craig and Aunt Vicki's house.  They were out of town, so we had the house to ourselves, but it would have been neater (in my opinion) to have them home, so we could have hung out.  Either way, we had a good time.

On Friday night, Mike and I had a very enlightening trip to Wal-Mart.  Things that make you go, "Huh??!??!?!!?!?!?!"

On Saturday, Mom and Dad watched the kids while we went on a little date.  It was fun!  We went to see "Taken", which was a great movie...action from about ten minutes into the movie straight to the end.  I have more thoughts on the movie, but I don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it.  :)

Today, I wanted to spend some time with some friends, but ended up working at home the entire afternoon and evening instead.  I'm irritated that it worked out that way, but at least the house is in excellent condition.  Dishes are completely done.  Laundry is completely caught up. (Seriously, the only dirty clothes that are present in this house are the clothes that we have on our backs.  How cool!)  Sheets have been changed.  Groceries have been purchased.  And the children have been put to bed.  Ruby is still whining in her bed, but I'm guessing that won't last much longer.

Honestly, our lives really are that boring right now.  :)  I've got some heavier stuff rolling around in my soul, but I'm highly doubtful that you all want to hear/read it.  Maybe I'll hop onto LindsayIAM sometime this week.  If so, I'll let you know.

Until then, I hope you've had an EXCELLENT weekend!  I'll come up with a more interesting post by tomorrow.  Promise!  Love you all!  :)
