You know you love it.

Randomness, that is.

Dishes -

Every single dish in my home is clean...except the cup that Mike is drinking from this moment.  I'm proud.

Laundry -

The laundry, however, is not finished...not even close.  I'm getting ready to go down and work on it.  I'm not proud.

New House -

We'll obviously be growing out of our house (in its current condition) sometime in the future.  There's no immediate threat.  We could live here another three years and be just fine.  However, we're keeping our eyes open during this buyer's market, just in case something amazing falls into our laps (like our current house did in 2005.)

Tonight, we went to look at a house that is For Sale by Owner.  Something really interesting happened while we were there!  When we pulled up, the owner was standing outside of the house, talking on the phone.  I opened my door to get out of the car, and he said, "I think you guys should stay in your car.  When I opened the house, I heard someone coming up the basement steps and jiggling the door.  I just called the police."

Surprised

Needless to say, we stayed in the car!  The police came out and checked the house, which turned out to be empty.  Thank you, God!  In the end, we weren't interested in the house, but it made for a great story, none the less!

Car Wash -

After we looked at that house, we took the car to get washed.  (A thorough cleaning was SORELY needed!)  As we were getting ready to go through the wash, Ruby started saying, "It's okay.  It's okay."  It was really cute, but I also felt bad for her, because she was clearly terrified.  In the end, she was a very brave girl, and she got a Krispy Kreme treat for her courage!  :)

Doll House -

I have come to the conclusion that I might possibly be trying to relive my childhood through Ruby.  Now, before you start to worry that I've enrolled her in some whacked out beauty pageant, hear me out.

For Christmas, Daddy and I asked Santa to bring Ruby a play kitchen.  When I was a little girl, I *loved* my church nursery's play kitchen, and I *always* wished I had one at home.  So, the minute Ruby was old enough to have a play kitchen?  Momma asked Santa to hunt down a good deal on a play kitchen, and boy did he pull through!

While he was hunting down the kitchen, he came across the Dollhouse of all Dollhouses.

(Sorry the pictures are so spaced out.  I'm using the pics from Amazon until I upload the pics I took tonight.)

Originally priced at $159.00, Santa found this Melissa and Doug dollhouse for $60.00 at Amazon.com during the Christmas sales.  He alerted me, and I bought it for Ruby's birthday.  I'm too tired to upload pictures and video tonight, but I will do it soon.

Just let me say that this dollhouse is awesome.  It's *exactly* what I wanted as a kid.  After I put it together this afternoon, I spent about a half an hour playing with the furniture and dolls myself.  I felt like a little kid again.  :)  So far, Ruby loves it, too!

A Present from the President -

Ruby is convinced that her birthday present, the dollhouse, is from President Barack Obama.  I suppose since "present" and "president" sound similar then all presents must be from the president, right?

Right.

I think that's about it.  I've gotten some cute pictures lately.  Pop, Gigi, Poppa, and Nonna, I'll have them up soon!

Love you all!  Have a great weekend!  (Losers, don't forget that tomorrow is weigh-in!)
