I'm very curious how many of you are here at d6.not2us.net. I didn't know Mike was going to begin the switch this soon, or else I would have put up a post explaining what was happening.
Anyway, for those of you that are here, will you pray for me?
In 22 days, I will fly out of Indianapolis International Airport and head towards North Carolina. I will be attending a writer's conference, and I will be meeting with a publisher after the conference.
I am totally unprepared. It's not for lack of effort, I promise. I'm just scared to death. I don't really know what I'm supposed to write, but I feel pretty certain I'm supposed to write something.
Next week, Mike and I will be heading to Louisville, KY for a few days without the kids. Mike attending a church technology conference, and I am going to be holed up in a hotel room, trying to pound out a book proposal.
Obviously, my only hope is for the Holy Spirit to do the writing.
Will you pray for me? Just pray that I'm really in line with God, that I'm listening for his instructions, that I'm focusing on his will, and that he gives me clear direction on this book thing.

Praying you have a fun, safe, and successful trip. We're from right outside Louisville........if you need a pretty place to write, there's a place on the Indiana side of the river called The Falls of The Ohio. My sister goes to college down there and she seems to really enjoy studying and stuff there. It's a pretty site where a giant fossil bed formed. There's also one of my favorite restaurants down the road that's also on the river called Rocky's. It's Italian food that's really good and has a great view of the river. Just thought you might enjoy some place not in a hotel room to write! Good luck!

You and Mike and the children are always in our prayers. We will pray for a safe trip for you to your writer's conference and for guidance in what to write.. Safe travels and fun for you and Mike as you spend some time apart from the kiddos..
Please keep your cousin Sarah in your prayers as she is entering that last week or so before her baby girl is born. She has been feeling fine, and we all are wanting so much for Zoey to get here safe and sound. This will be the 2nd great-granddaughter for us and we can hardly wait..
