...two little boys were born into this world. Their mommy had carried them together in her stomach for nine full months. They put her through torture and discomfort unknown to mothers who have only carried one baby to full-term. They were twins, and they were 7.5 lbs a piece. :) Their names were Marc and Mike, and God had great plans for them.
Today, Marc and Mike are celebrating the day of their birth. While Marc spent the day in the special care nursery with his son, Mike ate lunch with his special care graduates. The twins' lives continue to twist and twine together, creating still more bonds that will never be broken.
They are different in many ways, but, in the most important ways, they are the same:
They love God. They are incredible sons, brothers, husbands, fathers, and friends. They put others ahead of themselves...always. They work hard and love harder. They are trustworthy, faith-filled, and true.
I am so absurdly thankful that I get to call one of these twins my husband. And, today, I am indescribably proud of my brother-in-law and the way he has handled himself during this most stressful time of his life.
Happy Birthday, Boys! Your family loves you, and we are blessed beyond description to have you in our lives.

What a nice post, I completely agree with everything you said. I could not ask for better brothers. I am extremely proud of them and thankful for them. While it has been hard at times to see my brothers move on and do new things while I was still at home, it has also been neat to see how their lives have changed in the last five years. I look forward to seeing them raise their families. I have been blessed with great sister in laws, nephews, and a neice. I look forward to the many memories we can share as a family. I am sad I could not see them today, but I am sure they both had a good day with their growing families. Marc and Mike, I love you very much. Happy Birthday! Marc and Mike's Birthday
I will indeed never forget the day that our twin grandson's were born. WOW, what a blessing to be the grandparents of Marc and Mike Goodwin.
I have been thinking of them all day. I mailed their birthday cards this morning.
I remember the day, that Bob and Diana came to visit me, and they had a picture of the twins. An ultrasound had been done. They were thrilled to learn that they were having twins. They were a little anxious, but I suggested that they just relax and enjoy the blessings.
I reminded Bob and Diana, that most couples only get one baby at a time. That God was going to give them a double blessing!
Both young men are serving God in their adult lives now. Praise God.
Marc and Mike are two outstanding young men! I agree with everything that Lindsay, and Megan have said about the two of them.
I too wish I could of seen them both today, but for now, I will have to just say, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARC AND MIKE! Grandpa and I love you both very much.
