I generally let Ruby watch a cartoon of some sort while she munches on breakfast in the morning. Since we got rid of cable, she gets her choice of video. For the past four or five mornings, she has consistently asked for, "Ledders, mommy, please. No Doodoobops."

Really? She wants to watch the Leap Frog Letter Factory DVD instead of the Doodlebops? The girl has seen this DVD at least two dozen times since she got it for her birthday. I'm thinking it's time to pull out the ABC flashcards and see if it's done any good. :)
On the other hand, what do you think this means? Is she already doomed to a future confined to nerd-dom? (I mean, really...letters over Doodlebops?) That sounds like something Mike or I would have chosen as young children...and look how we turned out...
