Peyton has been crazy lately. He has escaped from his cage numerous times since his first escapade. It seems that no matter what we do to the cage (e.g. putting heavy objects around it or in it, wedging it into a corner, etc.) he finds a way to get out.
Recently he has lifted the cage up off the ground so that he could walk out of the bottom slats without even turning the cage completely over! He even manages to get it up off the ground when there’s a 20lb weight laying across one of the bottom bars! He thinks he’s so smart, but I have a plan. I’m going to tie his leash to the top of the cage. This way, if he manages to walk out of the bottom of his cage (the only place he’ll fit through) he’ll still be tied to the top of his cage. He’ll have to drag his cage along behind him! That’d be funny to come home to!
