In today’s entry, Chambers uses an interesting analogy. He talks about how Jesus lived in the synagogue as a child, essentially “dwelling in His father’s house.” He then challenges us to live our lives in a manner such that Jesus is again dwelling in His father’s house as He lives in us. It reminded us of the verses in 1 Corinthians 6 where Paul writes
Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
It challenged us to have more intimacy and communion with God in our daily lives, not just turning to Him when everything goes wrong!
