2005 in Review

Everyone does this on their blogs; we’re no different. Here’s the highlights of 2005 for the Goodwin household:

Personal
-We were married on New Year’s Day in Terre Haute
-Our honeymoon to Nashville and the Passion 05 conference
-We lived in our first apartment together
-We bought our first dog (Peyton) in January
-Mike graduated from Purdue in May
-We bought our first house in May
-Marc and Stephanie were married in June
-Mike turned 22 in June
-Mike got Peyton Manning’s autograph
-Mike started graduate school in August
-Lindsay worked at C&B then Regions Bank
-Lindsay got a promotion to FSR and was a BCL
-Lindsay turned 23 in September
-Mike got mono!
-Mike was published for the first time
-We bought our second dog (Molly)
-Lindsay graduated from Purdue!

Sports
-Patriots won the Super Bowl, stomping the Colts along the way
-IU didn’t make the tournament AGAIN!
-The Spurs won the NBA title
-The White Sox finally won the world series
-Purdue football SUCKED royally!
-The Colts nearly went undefeated
-Tony Dungy’s son passed away a few weeks ago

News (not much)
-Hurricane Katrina ripped through the southeastern US

That’s about it. What will 2006 hold in store? Could it be a bigger year for us than 2005 was? Only time will tell….stay tuned.
