The Latest News
I’ve been feeling MUCH better over the last few days. I think by early next week I’ll likely be back to normal. I’m still taking it pretty easy for awhile longer, but I’ll be able to start helping Lindsay with household chores. Hopefully I’ll have dishes done and the house picked up when she gets back from work today. Thank you for all your prayers for my health.
Lindsay’s job and classes are in full swing right now. Her business writing class is asking a lot of the students, which Lindsay was not expecting. However, she’s keeping a positive attitude and strong work ethic towards her classes; I’m so proud of her for finishing up this semester. Her work also seems to be going a little better. The “branch conversion” process doesn’t seem to be stressing her out as much. Again, thank you all for your prayers for Lindsay.
On another note, gas prices are ridiculous. Luckily, Lindsay filled up her car last weekend when prices were “low.” We also got a heads up that prices were about to skyrocket on Wednesday, so I rushed out to the gas station. Of the three gas stations near us, two had already gone up to ~$3.20/gallon. Luckily, the BP station still had $2.80. Pretty lucky! I usually don’t care about slight increases in gas prices, but this is ridiculous. Hopefully those oil refineries on the gulf coast can start back up ASAP.
Love you all!
