This week must be our week to meet up with old friends.

We won “free chicken for a year” at Chick-fil-A. Lindsay entered our names the last time we went, and we got a call yesterday telling us we won. They gave us 52 free combo meals. So, we’ll get to go every other week together for free! That’s worth like $250 if you think about it. We’ll definitely make good use of them.

Anyway, we went to pick them up yesterday, and while we were there Brent Smitley walked in. He attended West Side Community Church with us in West Lafayette. He’s a really cool guy. Plus, he’s sweet on the drums! Anyway, it was good to catch up with him and to hear how things are going at our old church.

Tonight, we went to use our first free meals, and ran into Garrett and Chelsee Wood. This isn’t much of a surprise since they work at CFA, but it was nice. We got to talk with Chelsee a long time about life, church, faith, school, etc. We also invited them to come to Elston Heights.  Hopefully they’ll join us soon (God willing)! If nothing else, I hope that we get to hang out with them more in the future.
