Now that we have our new blog up and running (and looking somewhat like we want it), I figured we should update you on our lives a little…

Yesterday at church we had our first annual “Family Carnival” It was an outreach opportunity for our church, but we mainly wanted to provide a safe, fun, family-friendly source of entertainment for the local community. We had a hog roast, puppet shows, music, games, dunk tanks, a moonwalk, a cupcake walk and even a petting zoo. We had people guess how many Skittles were in a jar for a chance to win a $100 gift certificate to Toys “R” Us too.  Here are some pictures from the day:

We were all a little nervous about how it might turn out, but it was a HUGE success! We had somewhere near 300 people show up for the fun. God rewarded our hard work with a great turnout.
