BCM fall retreat
This past weekend Lindsay and I headed to Shades State Park to lead worship at the Purdue BCM’s fall retreat. We drove out on Friday night. We had dinner and then worshipped around the campfire. Saturday we had more worship, listened to Purdue get their butts kicked on the radio, played football, ultimate, poker, etc. There were two times of worship that day, one in the morning and one in the evening. On Sunday we had the last worship service in the morning. All in all it was a great time of reflection and being away from the business of life. We focused specifically on how God uses the seemingly insignificant people to do amazing things. The speaker, Jason Harris, was great at communicating the message to the students. He’s an assistant pastor at North Point Baptist Church in Evansville, IN. Our senses of humor were very similar, so we got along extremely well. I look forward to the possibility of working together in the future. I’m going to try to post some pictures (and maybe videos) from the weekend.
