Labor Day weekend

This weekend was fun. On Friday we had dinner at Olive Garden with Kim, Terri, Dan and Patti Burke (Lindsay’s parents, Uncle and Aunt). Kyle, Kim, Daniel and Kristy were also there. On Saturday, we had breakfast at Cracker Barrel, which was sweet! We then bought a few clothes at Goodwill. After that we had a leadership team meeting for our church. We were a little anxious going into it, but everything went over smoothly. Our church is seriously about to explode!

On Sunday, worship went very well. We had Adam Smith plax sax with us. Some things might need to be ironed out, but I think all in all he did a great job! We had lunch at Kyle’s apartment (drive through Burger King) then watched Armageddon. I forgot how much I liked that movie. On Sunday night we had a picnic for our small group at church. It was a fun time of food, fellowship and football.

Then we drove to Terre Haute to ride along with the Burkes in the labor day parade. Their truck pulled the American Legion baseball team, which apparently got to the championship game of a national tournament. Then Monday night we had dinner with our best friends, Zach and Sarah.

It was a great weekend!
