Yesterday we went with Zach and Sarah to Slayter Hill at Purdue to watch Switchfoot. Unfortunately, Lindsay and Sarah had to leave before they actually started, because they had to get Sarah’s house ready for small group…Also, we didn’t realize that there would be three opening bands who did six songs each. Anyway, Zach and I got to see the majority of the show, and it was pretty sweet. They covered Beyonce’s “Crazy Right Now” song and did this cool thing where they all froze in place for about a minute before resuming a song. Above is a cool picture that was on the Facebook event page for the concert. I did not take the picture, although I wish I had. It’s pretty sweet. Jon is a crazy man on stage, and their new (not really all that “new” now) guitar player really adds a lot to their songs.
