Hey everyone.  I just wanted to give a quick update from my side of the family since I haven't posted in forever.

Work

I'm loving my job at Griffin Analytical.  I'm working on a project that really gives me a sense of purpose and practicality for the science.  It's nice to know that the products we're developing could literally save lives in the future.  I'm especially excited for the work that I'll be doing in the new year!

Church

Our church is at a very pivotal time in its development.  Lindsay and I are still trying to find our respective roles in the leadership structure.  I've talked a little bit with Randy recently about bringing the music and media portions of the church into a more cohesive unit.  I'm not certain how it will look, but I'm definitely excited to work on the overall experience of a Sunday morning at Elston.

Family

During this time of year I'm especially thankful for my family, immediate and extended.  Every time I look at Lindsay, Ruby or Burke I'm reminded of God's love for me and how I should be reflecting that love onto them.  Everyday Ruby says something new that just melts my heart, and Burke is growing so fast.  I still can't get over the fact that God blessed us with his life, let alone getting over how fast he's putting on the pounds!  Lastly, I can't say enough about my thankfulness for Lindsay.  She keeps us all fed, clothed and happy.  She devotes a ton of time and energy into our family, and I don't thank her nearly enough.  I love you dear, and I am so thankful for how we mesh together as one!

That's all for now.  I wanted to throw in my two cents.
