Burke's First Real Word

Burke finally seems to have taken to talking.  He said "DaDa" no less than 100 times today.  It made me really proud to be his father.  Needless to say...his affection for "MaMa" is much more apparent from his actions.

That little guy is precious. Brett didn't talk for the longest time, and after having one (Eric) that was talking in full sentences by two, it alarmed us as well. I  could stand behind her and bang pan lids together and she would never flinch. Alot of ear fluid, and tubes from three months of age until six, she turned out pretty darn smart!

I know you are proud Mike!  You will from this day forward hear "Da Da" or Daddy  for the rest of your life.

It is a very special day when they say their very first words in life! I enjoyed hearing the excitement in Lindsay's voice too.

Little children are so precious, what a gift from God! Wait  until they come home from school and they are able to read to you!  It will bring tears to your eyes.
