Death by Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients:

2 pkg (16 squares) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate 

3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar

1/4 c. butter

2 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

1/2 c. flour

1/4 t. baking powder

2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

Coarsely chop 8 squares of the chocolate and set aside.

Microwave the remaining 8 squares on HIGH for 1-2 minutes in a large microwavable bowl.  Then stir until the chocolate is melted.

Add the sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla to the bowl and mix it all together.

Stir in the flour and baking powder.

Stir in the reserved chocolate chunks and nuts.

Drop by heaping tablespoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 12-13 minutes until the cookies look well puffed.

Remove from oven and cool on the sheet for one minute.

Transfer the cookies to a wire rack and cool competely.

Enjoy with a nice, cold glass of milk!  :)

Makes about 18 cookies.
